Drawing about 3.2 watts per light, these are bright and would work well as a rock light, area illumination or maybe in the bays of your RV but they are a little expensive for what you get. The lights are built on a metal housing with 18 LEDs each and some very fine/small gauge wire for the positive/negative connection. Hardware is provided but you’ll likely have to source your own if it’s anything other than mounting to a panel you have access to on both sides. There are no plugs on the wires, no extensions, no harness, switches, phone app or remote…just a set of six white lights. You’ll need to build your own harness which may not be a big deal for some but if it is for you, keep this in mind. 3.5/5

The lights make nice big puddles of light. Bright enough to see stuff, but not so blight to be blinding. They do have an LED driver, any voltage over 10V is a steady output. 10V-25V is the same output. The sponge pad, is just a pad. It is not a peel and stick light install. There are 2 screw holes per light, and it even comes with the a pair of machine screws and nuts for each light. To install the light, there will be 3 holes per light. One for the wires to pass, two for the mounting. Speaking of wires, nice thick black insulation that contains both power (red) and ground (black) wires inside.

Wiring is fairly straightforward which I like to see and the pods are super bright. All I can say is why 6 pods instead of 4 8 or 12? Makes for an uneven look.

These are nice, compact, and sturdy appearing rock lights. The enclosed mounting hardware is just some long screws, washers, and nuts. More than likely I’ll mount these directly with self tapping screws to the frame. Plenty of length to the pigtail for connecting to a wiring harness.

Planning to use these as interior lights for my Jeep. They will be plenty bright.

Having 18 LEDs per pod makes these things super bright! The beam spread is outstanding compared to others with a central LED. The metal housing is heavy, and the powder coating should protect them for years. The foam pad is just a vibration pad and not for installation. There are 2 mounting holes, and stainless hardware provided for each light. A center hole is required to pass the light through the mounting surface.Center wiring hole is 3/16″. Each mounting hole is 5/32″ for the included hardware to fit. You can use the 3/16″ drill bit on all the holes without issue.

For the price these little rock lights look great. Great white color, and they seem to be durable enough to hold up against dirt and mud. They come with the screws needed, and a wire roughly 2 feet long. One complaint is that the wire comes directly out the back on the light instead of out from the side, so you will have to drill a hole for the wire to fit through.

These rock lights put out a wide beam of bright white light. Aluminum housings are good quality. Look and feel durable. The kit does not include a wiring harness, which would have been nice at this price point.

These look great initially. Only time will tell how they hold up. They were easy to install and appear to be good quality. I am most curious as to how well they will hold up, especially to water. I’ll update this after a few months and I can see how they hold up to normal use.

I’m pretty impressed actually. These seem well-made, and are certainly brighter than I anticipated they’d be. I got them, not as rock lights, but to serve a dual function. A couple will go under my hood to augment the terrible hood light, in the event I need to get at something in the engine bay at night. The other two will go on the face of my workbox, below the bed line, so I can have a little illumination on tap to see what’s in the bed. For these uses, they’ll probably be great, though I do wonder how long they’ll last bathed in the heat of the engine bay. But they’re not designed for that, so it’s a big ask. They come with a little adhesive foam backer, and are affixed by the dual screw holes on each side. I was a little bit surprised that the wire came directly out of the back, which necessitates drilling a third hole in most mounting options. Would have preferred this wasn’t the case, but again, logical for their intended use as rock lights.Frankly, I’m pretty happy with these and see no reason to remove a star for anything. I expect them to work nicely for me.

These are nice little rock lights.Packaging:These come in a nice box, no idea how they managed to cram all four of the lights in there, but they were all there. They’re smaller than expected, but they’re bright.Installation:These have adhesive pads as well as screw holes to mount them. If I were using them on the inside of the vehicle I wouldn’t mind using the adhesive, but on the outside of a vehicle (or whatever you mount it to where it’s exposed to the elements) I would bolt it down. The adhesive pads can hold them in place while you screw them in, so there’s a use! These are just lights, not a wiring kit, so you’ll need a relay, toggle switch, wire, fuse holders, and fuses. If you’re comfortable doing this it isn’t a complicated job, but it does get a little technical.Use:These are fairly bright for the size and cost. Don’t expect these to light up the world, but for showing obstacles under your vehicle, or just to show off, these work very well. Conclusion:If you want rock lights these are an excellent choice. They seem sturdy, the LEDs are well-protected, and having the option to screw these in is excellent. No need to find creative ways to mount it.Worth the purchase.

I mounted 2 of these on the crossbars of my utv and wired to a switch. Now I have interior lights when needed on night rides.

I am using these on a lifted SUV I got to have some fun in and it looks great! I used the adhesive and it works OK, but I also used some zip ties to be on the safe side. These seem like pretty durable lights and they work well. I was able to install them pretty easily, but I have experience doing stuff like this. I wired them to a switch and had them glowing in about an hour. They are a very bright, vivid white and light up a lot of ground for night rides.
